Miniature Madness

I've mentioned I am planning on having a live sale just for small things. I haven't totally decided what that entails yet. Maybe it will literally be all miniatures. That can be things I make and things I buy in bulk. I may also see if I can talk myself into making a bunch of horse boots, those are small items. I am not sure if I want to do anything else though. I might do the accessories; saddlebags and saddle pads, chaps and cross country kits, but I haven't decided yet. I am open to suggestions. I will also take suggestions on what I should make. I may not be able to offer everything people want, but I can sure try. I have a bunch of candy ready for assembly, so that is coming for sure.
I also found the show numbers I printed out and glossed. Those have all been cut out and packaged and are pretty much set. I have some more handcuffs ready as well. I have some miniatures I ordered to add to my offerings and to have for prizes. I have a list of things I want to make. I have a small start on everything. I also have a long way to go.
So we're entering week 5 (I think) of me being a homeschool mom. Some days it's great and some days I get a bit frustrated. Some days Travis just wants more work to do, and he does it with no resistance. And other days we struggle to finish the simplest tasks. But I feel like that is sort of life in general, and especially these days. Some days we can be very productive. And some days we wonder what day it is and when we can go and do something normal. I'm hoping for mostly good days and to forgive myself on the days when we just don't want to do anything. There's always tomorrow.

  1. Having just finished rereading Gone With The Wind, "there's always tomorrow" made me laugh out loud. Atta girl.

  2. Would love to see you do a bunch of egg & spoon combos and broken eggs for a gymkhana set-up. Also a candy apple on a stick -- I can imagine having a lot of fun with a child trying to keep that away from her pony. Whatever you do, I'm sure it will be awesome.
