Terri Wright is Amazing

Terri Wright is an amazing artist. I have a lot of things she created. I think mostly furniture. I have several chairs, a couch, tables of a few varieties, a desk, and some really cool lamps. Terri does really excellent work.
A couple of days ago I got a package from Terri that was not furniture. It was a really lovely Arabian tack set.
Terri also sent me the scraps and the matching fabric so I could create a doll to match. I did say that Terri is amazing, didn't I?
I had no issues putting on the main part of the tack, or the breast collar. But the halter and bridle stumped me for a while. I did eventually figure them out though. Time Lord looks amazing in pink! Which is good, since not everything does (weird).
When I got my last batch of tack I was kind of concerned because I didn't really think anything great about having new stuff. The tack was lovely, but I still wasn't excited to show. Usually new tack does that for me. This set isn't making me want to show, but it makes me really happy. It is the first Arabian set that I have had in my possession that I didn't make. And it is incredible.
This set also had the added bonus of bringing me back to my beginning work in the hobby. I wasn't a doll maker when I started. I made Arabian halters and sometimes full Arabian sets. My very first doll, back in 2006, was an Arabian rider. I know just how difficult and time consuming it is to make 3 tiers of tassels. But don't they look so nice?
For now, Time Lord is going to wear his pink tack and hang out on the end of the shelf where I can see him. Getting this set didn't instantly inspire me to go out and start showing again, but it does bring me joy, and that is enough for now.
