Covered Arena Horses

     I have been trying to get this post up for a couple of days. I crashed pretty hard on Thursday. Wednesday I managed to get all the laundry and unpacking done without issue. Even having very little sleep. But then Thursday I was barely functioning. Friday was not much better, but nothing messes with my coffee date with Travis so I went out. I was so tired I didn't even feel like going to dance. But I had promised to pick up a friend of mine, so I went. And it was awesome, just like it always is. I also made another new friend. The dance community really is spectacular. Yesterday I was still tired, but Travis and I had been invited to a big post 4th of July 4th of July party. And it's not been a common thing for us to get invited to things. Again, this is all coming out of the dance community. Not to leave out model horse people. Everyone was amazing at horsefest! All of a sudden we went from years of being sort of isolated because people didn't want to ask me to things because I couldn't go alone or they didn't quite know how to deal with Travis. Now he is included in everything and it really means a lot to me. We met a whole ton of new people yesterday, which was absolutely terrifying for me for a while. I can sometimes have some extreme social anxiety issues if I don't really know anyone in a big crowd of people. It was rough and I almost left. But my friend stuck with me, we hung out while Travis jumped in the pool (he can swim but he prefers to just jump) and slowly I met people and by the end of the night I had a whole bunch of new family. I am trying not to let fear control me. So when we get invited to things we go, unless we absolutely can't. 

    Anyway, back to horsefest! The third day of Breyerfest I spent a lot of time in the covered arena with Fabian and Angelo. I can probably remember what most of these performances were, even if I don't remember anyone's name, but I know if I try for that this post is just going to keep not getting finished.
