Danielle also included a little goody bag with each entry. These are literally tiny bags with some cute things in them. I got a rubber chicken and a micro Schleich horse. I also happen to love tiny gift bags and I have saved every single one I ever got.
Danielle Feldman's Why the Chicken Crossed the Road online show wrapped up the other day. While I did not do exceptionally well in the show I did place in several classes, won a good egg award for "it's all in the details" and Danielle should get a prize for fast shipping of prizes. I think she shipped as quickly as I do (which is really fast, lol!). My little box of prizes arrived yesterday and there are definitely some cool details I may need to eventually
steal use for my own shows.
I really like how absolutely everything in the show followed the chicken theme. I don't have themes for my online shows, but I do love how the placings are little silhouettes with the placings on them. I use color codes stars (and dots) to do my placings. With these it is definitely impossible to not know what placing your prize is for. I like that. I also kind of like the idea of the themed awards (Danielle had them as "good egg" awards.) before the show you come up with different awards that are a bit out of the box, and then the prizes get awarded for that. I really like it. I have no idea what I would come up with, but maybe that is something I can figure out. I would not have won a tiny rosette in this show without the good egg award. And tiny rosettes are awesome!
And I do love stickers! The chicken sticker is now on my laptop. That is not a spot I touch so it is likely to be there for a long time. The horse sticker is not fairing as well. But if it wears out I can replace it. I still have lots of stickers.
